Run A little more walking then running and I blame it on what I was listening to on Spotify. Normally Conan O'Brien needs a friend is comical and fun, but the interview with Goldie Hawn was a much more serious and interesting fare. As I did not want to miss too much, I spent more time focusing on listening rather than concentrating on my run. After run had social visits with three groups, including Jan V who was proudly wearing her Boston Marathon 5 K Community Run Medal, Boston Marathon Medal and now her Abbott 6 Star Medal.

Run I was a little exhausted in this run after doing circuit training class yesterday morning and a walk in the afternoon. Further both my knees were a little sore and I could not shake it off. Oh well, still got out for a workout.

run was OK - hips got sore (as usual) but not to the extent that they used to before I started doing strength training again.

This is a positive sign!

Easy 1K warmup, Hard from Dundas along trail ALL the way to the end of the trail, once you touch the road, you turn back and run north up the same trail EASY. Then back down HARD again. Now run out onto Upper Middle Road, run EASY along Blue Spruce until where it ends at Dryden. Turn around and run back to Upper Middle Road along Blue Spruce HARD! Then run Easy back to Dryden and out onto Appleby Line North back to the store. One more HARD effort happens from the start of the underpass all the way to the top of the underpass on the other side.

Was supposed to do 18km with 4 x 1 min HARD intervals.
Felt like crap. Got 5k into the run and turned around and went back. It was all up hill, no energy, no motivation, really tired as I did not sleep well last night.
