Run Only a couple of my diehard Saturday morning run clubbers made it out this morning, so we went a bit longer than usual .. a nice 8k / 58 min steady effort ..

Later this afternoon made it to the Grand Opening Party for my I Love Kickboxing studio for a mini 30 min class. Prior to that, they had a Burpee Challenge .. as many as you can and for as long as you can challenge.. in the end it was an old fart of 55 years vs a 5-6 year old, if that who weighed maybe 45lbs wet if that and he gave up after 6:30+ and this old guy kept on going ? Ha!!! :shock: :lol: :dance: :shifty: :wink:

Started raining during the last km.
Was really tired when I got home from work/before the run. Felt better afterwards though.
Lots of little aches and pains during the run too, but not that bad.

Was muggy out due to the overnights rain.
Hips were sore when I got up out of bed. I thought a run would help...it didn't! Slogged through the run welcoming a break at intersections to allow for the traffic.

Not a good run.

The run was OK, but my right glute was sore for about 4-5km. Later, especially near the finish, my right knee made running difficult. I believe it was my IT band. I foam rolled at home but by then the pain was gone. Although my right hip is still quite sore and I am limping when I walk.
