Run A little more walking then running and I blame it on what I was listening to on Spotify. Normally Conan O'Brien needs a friend is comical and fun, but the interview with Goldie Hawn was a much more serious and interesting fare. As I did not want to miss too much, I spent more time focusing on listening rather than concentrating on my run. After run had social visits with three groups, including Jan V who was proudly wearing her Boston Marathon 5 K Community Run Medal, Boston Marathon Medal and now her Abbott 6 Star Medal.

21-Jul-30 12:30 SunLong Steady Distance 2:39:5127.8km/238km5:4510.4CB/Riverside to HC/POW2727.522 + 2x140 for TF water cooler. Another fountain drink on return trip. Quads tight, weak, shoes feeling hard throughout. Dehydration and heat also a factor. Slowing in last 10k. Last 5k felt very long and included several periods of walking when feeling nauseous or when legs might stumble or collapse such as downhills, going around turns or bumpy pavement etc. 1:16:29/1:23:22

Since the gym was warm and very humid and the window seems to be bolted shut again, after 2 miles I removed the shirt which was much more comfortable. Bit of fatigue and form getting bit ragged in last couple miles.

13-Jul-18 0:00 TueSteady State 56:5011.7km/136.6km4:5312.3LF95Ti1.5 warm up, 3x1.5 mi 8.3 w/400 recoveries, ~4 pickups to 9. While the breathing was low and the temperature seemed close to Beer Store levels (but still saturating everything nearby with sweat), the forces on the body were around the redline throughout, generously assisted by the 6 year old shoes breaking 1700 km in this run, the legs tired from the weekend's runs and the advanced age. Followed with a bit of machine reverse/flies, machine ab curl, pulley triceps and pull-ups. As an ultramarathoner, while my level of tan is admittedly beyond the fashionable level and includes a wrist watch line, I was also comfortable in preceding and following this run with walks of 2-3 km.

7-Jul-9 11:45 SunLong Steady Distance 1:54:5521.2km/71.6km5:2611.1CB Path/Riverside23While temperature was not an issue and dehydration probably not for majority, quads were tight and weak from the start and remained so, later broadening in scope to include all muscles in both legs, probably enhanced by 18th pair of Brooks Adrenaline being at record mileage set to break 1600km, but wasn't seriously difficult until last half hour or so.
