Tough run w/ Ryan and Max (in Chariot - Ryan pushing) after a week off due to having put my lower back out in a bad way, an earlier-day mountain bike (which should have been the limit to my exercise that day), and too much sun.

This was about 40 minutes of running in total, split in the middle with a walk around the Wishing Well and a few walk breaks in the second half. Felt horrible.

Haven't run with a GPS watch since starting back in April. However, I do often (very often) check in with my internal speedometer and odometer. Wish I could break this habit and be a little more mindful of other things during the run.

Tired & unmotivated to start. Insert one grumpy back, high humidity, and 100km/hr commuters kicking up debris.

Zero Zen on this run. Wanted to call it quits after 2 reps, but managed to keep going, mostly on dirt on the side of the road.

5FunJun-11 19:30 SatTrail 32:005.1km/5.1km6:179.6Beaudry Provincial Park19Wild Grape Trail (2.5K) + Elm Trail (2.8K)...plus a little extra off course until we found our way back (100m-ish). But Ryan's Garmin data from previous XC ski and today's run indicate that it is more like a 5.1K route when you combine the two trails (you omit a little bit of the Wild Grape Trail when you do this), so calling this 5.1K in total to keep it honest.

Continuous run at conversational pace with the exception of some necessary careful walking (well, clinging onto tree branches) through a 100m stretch of 5-inch mud. The walking bit was factored into the total time, so maybe this was 30 minutes of running and 2 minutes of walking over 5.1K.

This felt relatively comfortable (as comfortable as running in hot & muggy conditions when attempting to rebuild fitness can feel). No sore spots to report.
